EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
We have revised our 2010 GDP growth forecast for Brazil to 5.8% from 5.3%, given solid performance in domestic and external demand. Although we expect COPOM to start the tightening cycle on April 28 with a 50 basis point (bp) hike, a 75 bp adjustment is also possible.
