EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Thailand’s growth contracted q/q in Q3 as exports slowed and rains dampened private demand. Likewise, the Philippines’ Q3 growth eased due to the impact of inclement weather on investment and agriculture, and Malaysia’s weakened due to decelerating manufacturing exports. Taiwan’s export data suggest industrial production edged up in October. Demand-side pressures accelerated Singapore’s inflation in October, while that of Malaysia remained unchanged amid weaker demand-side and liquidity pressures.
