Syria: Stable for Now, But Not Immune

The revolutionary spirit has, so far, failed to mobilize people in Syria. There was little response to calls promoted by online activists for a peaceful protest on February 4, with the few demonstrators who did show up reported to have been promptly dispersed by security forces.
