What is the difference between a Critical Issue and a Briefing?
A Critical Issue is RGE's cutting edge analytical vehicle, able to provide quick context and access to the best thinking from RGE and other outlets on a developing issue in Nouriel Roubini's reknowned, bullet-point style. A Briefing, on the other hand, is the broader context and historial background against which the latest geoeconomic trends and events of the day play out.
What is an EconoMonitor?
EconoMonitors are expert sources of analysis and commentary segmented by Topic and Region and uniting hundreds of the world’s leading thinkers, policymakers and officials on finance and economics. Together they comprise the RGE blogosphere. Most of this content is freely available after registration with RGE. However, Nouriel Roubini’s Global EconoMonitor and the RGE Analysts’ EconoMonitor will contain some content that is proprietary and accessible exclusively by RGE Clients.
How do I comment on an EconoMonitor entry?
Towards the bottom of each post item that allows comments, you will find a form allowing you to enter your own comments. RGE Clients automatically have Comment permissions, but others will have to register with RGE. Comments appear chronologically and RGE reserves the right to remove offensive or other objectionable content.
How can I recommend content for your site?

The country/topic I'm looking for is not on your menu list, where can I find it?
You can perform a search for the country or topic of your choice through the search bar at the top of the page. The search results page will provide additional ways for you to narrow or intensify your search. Alternatively, you can also hover your mouse over the “Region” or “Topic” tabs on the homepage and dig down through our taxonomy.
How can I make the text size bigger/smaller?
Currently text size is static on Roubini.com, though this enhancement is expected to roll out shortly.

If I subscribe to RGE, do I get access to fee-based articles from the Economist, Wall Street Journal, etc. which are linked to from your Web site?
An RGE subscription does not include access to outside fee-based sites. Outside links which require more than a free registration will be marked as (Subscription Only).
What browsers/platforms does RGE support?
For Windows Platforms: IE 6+, Firefox 3+
For Mac Platforms: Safari 3+, Firefox 3+.
Technical Issues
Can I access RGE from more than one computer?
Yes. Unless you have an IP restricted subscription, you may log-in to RGE from any computer at any time. You may not, however, be logged-on to RGE from multiple locations at the same time.
When is login required, once I am a client?
For subscriptions that require registration, you will need to login to Roubini.com each time you visit. We also offer IP recognition subscriptions that simply recognize users who access the site from an authorized IP address (for instance, from the domain of a corporate client). Users with this type of access may not be required to login.
I am having trouble logging in with correct username/password.
First, make sure that you are entering your username and password with the correct capitalization and no extra spaces. If you created your account after August 2008, then your username is the email address you entered during registration.
If the problem persists, you can click the Forgot your password? link and enter your username and e-mail address. A new password will automatically be sent to your email account.
If you don’t remember your username, you may enter the email address associated with your account, and your username will be emailed to that address. If you are still having problems, please contact us.
Based on your computer’s browser settings, it is sometimes possible that your computer is remembering an old password. To correct this, we suggest that you clear your cookies, launch a new browser, and try logging in again:
Instructions for Internet Explorer
1. In the internet explorer menu, go to Tools
2. Go to Internet Options
3. On the first tab, General, the 2nd section is called Browsing history. Click Delete.
4. Another box will pop up. Click Delete cookies.
Instructions for Firefox
1. In the firefox menu, to to Tools.
2. Go to Clear Private Data
3. Check only the boxes next to Cache and Cookies
4. Click Clear Private Data.
Now launch a new browser and go to our home page www.roubini.com. Type your new username and password and click the Login button.
How do I stop Internet Explorer's Pop-up Blocker from blocking my access to links from the RGE site?
Users who are accessing the site with IE and Windows XP (SP2), may need to adjust their browser's Pop-up Blocker settings. In the IE browser toolbar click on: Tools > Pop-up Blocker > Pop-up Blocker Settings, and adjust to allow pop-ups from www.rge.com. View Microsoft information page.
