RGE's Q3 2010 Nordics Outlook

RGE expects the Nordic region as a whole to grow by 1.7% in 2010, compared with the 1.3% forecast in our Q2 2010 Outlook. The main reason behind the revision is our expectation of stronger growth in Sweden (2.9% in 2010). We now envisage greater divergence in the growth performance of the five Nordic countries, as the forecasts for the other individual countries have remained broadly unchanged. The Q1 2010 GDP figures did not bring major surprises, except for Sweden where growth was stronger than expected, at 1.4% q/q. The output expansion in Norway was somewhat more sluggish than anticipated.
