Saudi Arabia Outlook: Oil Production Cuts Looming

Production cuts designed to offset weaker oil demand will accentuate the effect of waning stimulus, adding to the growth slowdown. Government stimulus will remain the primary growth driver, but investment, including social housing, as well as support of other MENA countries, may suffer at the expense of social transfers. Although Saudi Arabia will draw on reserves to make up any budgetary shortfall, spending requirements have boosted its oil price comfort zone, adding uncertainty to global oil markets.
