Fiscal stimulus in smaller, more domestically driven emerging markets (EMs) will provide some offset to slowing growth, particularly in Asia and LatAm, reinforcing the monetary stimulus and triggering investment. This stimulus will be less than in 2008-09, as fiscal balances have weakened, debt levels are higher and inflation rates remain elevated.
